Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Accountant - Remote (WFH).

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Manage accounts receivable, issue invoices, and process accounts payable
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, and support senior accountants with monthly/yearly closings

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• 2 years of accounting experience in the Government/Defense industry
• Intermediate MS Excel skills and knowledge of GAAP principles
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Experience with Unanet is preferred
