Jr. Legal Counsel (USA Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Jr. Legal Counsel (Remote, EdTech).

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate Terms of Use and Service Terms for B2C products
• Provide legal guidance on education-specific regulations and monitor legal developments in the education sector
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver legal analysis on complex commercial legal issues

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school or LL.M, actively admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3-5 years of post-graduate experience, preferably within education or related regulated sectors
• Strong understanding of U.S. EdTech regulations and U.S. Consumer Protection Laws
• Exceptional skills in drafting and negotiating B2B contracts
• Proven experience with legal support for educational and AI products
