A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all pre-service accounts are financially cleared prior to the date of service
  • Obtain and verify accurate insurance information, benefit validation, and preservice collections
  • Communicate with patients and physician offices regarding authorization and referral requirements
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of financial clearance experience in an acute care setting
  • NAHAM CHAA or AAHAM CRCS certification preferred
  • Proficient in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to expedite the registration process
