Key Responsibilities
  • Performs second level coder reviews on accounts and provides education on correct coding
  • Assists the coding manager with inquiries, reviews, and coding questions
  • Codes inpatient accounts when coverage is needed and monitors DNFC management
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of acute hospital coding experience
  • Associates Degree in Health Information Management
  • RHIT or CCS certification
  • Skilled in MS Office suite
  • Ability to analyze coding related reports
