Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Behavioral Health Crisis Assessment Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient involvement in treatment and education through individual, group, and family counseling
• Conducts mental health assessments and provides therapeutic interventions for discharge planning
• Acts as a liaison for child and adult protective services and addresses issues of abuse and neglect

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Active LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or HSPP license in the state of Indiana for out-of-state applicants
• Experience in mental health assessment and crisis intervention
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare team members effectively
• Experience in discharge planning and utilization review
