Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Legal (Employment) to serve as the employment law subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Legal and People departments with various legal issues related to the global workforce
• Partner with the HR Business Partner team on workplace investigations and employee relations matters
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and policies related to employment and employee relations

Required Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois and/or California
• 4-year undergraduate degree
• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• 7+ years of experience as an attorney focused on labor and employment law
• Experience managing and advising clients with global workforces
