Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts member substance misuse assessments and develops recovery and treatment plans
• Assesses, plans, implements, monitors, and evaluates options to meet the needs of members with substance use disorders
• Identifies community resources and support linkages to assist members in achieving their recovery goals

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 2+ years of experience working with vulnerable populations with complex bio-psychosocial needs
• Peer Recovery Support Certification required
• 60 contact hours of peer recovery-focused education and training, including specific areas of study
• At least six hours of ethics education and training and six hours of HIV/other pathogens education within the last six years
