Illinois Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Specialist to manage financial operations and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting operations in SAP, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and support budget and forecasting cycles
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with internal audits and compliance deadlines

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting and administration, with SAP experience preferred
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax reporting requirements
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
