Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Audit Manager to lead audit operations and ensure compliance within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish methods for supervision and review of evaluations related to fraud, waste, and abuse
• Conduct proactive medical record reviews and identify fraudulent billing patterns
• Prepare audit reports and perform root-cause analysis to identify improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Active Public Trust or ability to obtain one, requiring U.S. citizenship and a favorable background check
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Five or more years of experience in healthcare auditing and managing audit teams
• Proven experience in healthcare regulatory compliance and knowledge of coding standards
• Preferred certifications include CPC, CIA, CHC, and/or RHIT
