Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-time Health Information Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality and safeguard all protected health information (PHI)
• Retrieve records for patient care and compliance reviews in a timely manner
• Process correspondence related to the release of information in accordance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous Medical Record and/or Business Office experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient records management
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Pass PA Criminal Background Check and obtain necessary clearances
