Grant Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Grant Accountant to manage government and foundation grants and collaborate with program staff on financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor awards and ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls
• Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and assist with budget modifications
• Maintain grant data, assist with audits, and provide financial data for grant proposals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance required
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent education and work experience
• Thorough understanding of government grant accounting guidelines preferred
• Experience working for nonprofit organizations highly desired
