Geochemical Modeling Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ERW Geochemical Modeling Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration between ERW modeling teams on cross-model initiatives and best practices
• Support the development of a capabilities map of existing ERW models to enhance understanding
• Articulate goals and performance metrics for ERW modeling research focusing on geochemical processes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Demonstrated experience using numerical models in soil and/or groundwater (bio)geochemistry
• Deep understanding of inorganic soil chemistry
• Comfort with statistical methods, including error propagation in non-linear systems
• A Ph.D. or equivalent work history in earth science, geochemistry, or environmental engineering
• Experience in collaborative research programs across institutions
