Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Ledger Accountant on a fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complete and accurate transactions, month-end-closing activities, and prepare financial statements for the company's entities
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger account balances and provide explanations for variances
  • Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions and support tax-related activities
Required Qualifications
  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxes, Business, or a related field with 1-2 years of experience in financial accounting and taxes
  • Familiarity with international teams and experience in taxes and fixed asset ledger is advantageous
  • Proficient with Microsoft/Google tools and ERP systems like Oracle
  • Strong communication skills in English and German
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines
