Fundraising Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fundraising Officer to support its fundraising efforts through grant writing and prospect research.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute grant writing and submission activities, particularly for the European Commission
• Conduct research to identify new grant opportunities aligned with the organization's goals
• Maintain accurate records of prospecting and grant application activities within the organization's CRM database

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Journalism, or Foreign Policy field
• Three to five years of experience in grant writing, particularly from public and private sources
• Strong research skills and familiarity with donor prospecting tools and databases
• Knowledge of the non-profit sector and philanthropic trends
• Proficiency in using Google Suite, CRM systems, and grant management software
