Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of 3 years of inpatient coding experience in a large acute care facility (at least 700 beds)
Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
Must possess RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification
Experience with Cerner and a CAC; Optum eCAC experience preferred
Able to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, and complete training during regular business hours
