Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Underwriter (Northeast or Florida).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite FHA and VA loans, ensuring compliance with government designations
• Manage the underwriting of various loan types, including Bond, USDA, Renovation, and Construction
• Maintain communication with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status and training needs

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of government underwriting experience
• Must possess a valid DE designation; LAPP/SAR is highly preferred
• Experience with various loan types such as Bond, USDA, Renovation, and Construction is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input and interpretation
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
