Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
  • Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and document productivity in specified systems
Required Qualifications and Education
  • Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
  • Two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
  • Experience specifically in cardiology coding is required
  • Must hold relevant certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
  • Knowledge of coding conventions and compliance standards, including HIPAA and JCAHO
