Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and document productivity in specified systems
Required Qualifications and Education
Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
Two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
Experience specifically in cardiology coding is required
Must hold relevant certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
Knowledge of coding conventions and compliance standards, including HIPAA and JCAHO
