Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor to provide financial counseling to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial counseling to insured and uninsured patients
• Create payer sources for self-pay accounts and assist patients in meeting financial obligations
• Verify insurance eligibility, assist with applications for coverage, and determine financial assistance and payment arrangements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
• 3 years of experience in hospital registration, authorizations, or related fields required
• Experience in customer service required
• CRCS certification preferred
• Familiarity with Federal, State, and County program regulations
