Finance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares project billing for government contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements
• Handles final contract close-out billings and acts as a liaison between business and contract teams
• Provides support to auditors and performs special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of customer billing experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of customer billing processes
• Experience with transactional accounting and billing in a Federal Government contractor environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
