Executive Director of Translational Research

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Director, Translational Research Biology.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate testable hypotheses aligned with business needs to enhance drug-development programs
• Supervise in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies and lead pharmacology and toxicology analyses for IND enabling studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IND packages and establish external partnerships

Required Qualifications

• PhD in biology, pharmacology, or immunology with 12+ years of experience in pharma/biotech
• Experience in regulatory activities and authoring relevant sections of regulatory documents
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing nonclinical studies for drug development
• Record of high-quality publications and/or public presentations
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners
