Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Water Resources to lead efforts in protecting Great Lakes natural water resources through policy, research, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and recommend organizational goals and research agendas focused on water source protection and ecosystem integrity
  • Lead policy change initiatives and create impactful reports and presentations to influence decision makers
  • Manage a team of experts, overseeing project budgets and fostering a values-based organizational culture
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience in policy leadership
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in policy, scientific, or legal research leading to policy change
  • Proven leadership in managing multiple aligned policy priorities
  • Strong existing network of influential leaders in relevant fields
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice principles in ecosystems work
