Director of Application Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Application Security Engineering to lead its application security program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive application security strategy focused on automation and proactive measures
• Lead and mentor a team of application security engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration
• Drive the integration of security testing into CI/CD pipelines and evaluate new application security technologies

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or a related technology risk role
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing security and/or engineering teams
• Deep understanding of application security principles and common vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience with security tools and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in scripting languages and knowledge of cloud security principles
