cFocus Software seeks a Cyber Exercise Support Specialist to join our program supporting the Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC). This position is remote. This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
• 5 years’ experience of developing IT presentation material for technical information (cybersecurity)
• 5 years’ experience identifying cybersecurity training requirements and delivering relevant training to nontechnical audiences
• 5 years’ experience in an office environment with technical IT personnel
• 3 years’ experience of IT customer support
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools s such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Forms
Duties:
• Collaborate with ITSO Divisions to identify potential cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack scenarios relevant to the organization’s environment and risk profile.
• Develop detailed plans and objectives for cybersecurity exercises, outlining the goals, scope, participants, and timeline for each exercise.
• Assist with the execution and facilitation of cybersecurity exercises, guiding participants through simulated cyber-attack scenarios and response activities.
• Observe and evaluate participants’ performance during cybersecurity exercises, assessing their readiness, effectiveness, and adherence to established policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conducts post-exercise analysis and debriefing sessions to review exercise outcomes, identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations for enhancing the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
• Provide written recommendations on Government drafts of executive summaries and briefings.
