What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside of the center
– Utilize U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
– Move, hook up, and inspect U-Haul trucks and trailers
– Prepare rental invoices and manage equipment returns
– Participate in ongoing training and education programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs.
– Willingness to work in environments requiring safety precautions
– Availability for scheduled work shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience in customer service or related fields
– Familiarity with equipment maintenance and inspection
– Ability to drive a forklift (certification available upon employment)
– Certification in filling propane (training provided)
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
