Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to provide administrative support in the credentialing process for healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Quality & Organizational Effectiveness by ensuring open communication and follow-through on credentialing issues
• Assist in the credentialing process for initial appointments and reappointments of physicians, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
• Coordinate credentialing policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and staying updated on TJC standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience
• Ability to take initiative to improve administrative support functions
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to prepare and maintain records and reports
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians and hospital staff
