CPC Certified Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist - Surgery (CPC preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile surgical procedures and assign CPT and ICD-10 codes to surgery charges
• Resolve denied charges and verify appropriate attestations
• Conduct policy analysis for managed care issues and ensure timely completion of reimbursement projects

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of progressively responsible experience in medical insurance, medical billing, or medical reimbursement
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Advanced Records Technician (ART), or Registered Records Administrator (RRA) upon hire is preferred
