CPA Tax Director - job 1 of 3

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Director to lead strategic tax planning in a fast-paced, high-growth healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee federal and multi-state income tax compliance, including filings and estimated payments
• Manage indirect taxes and lead tax planning initiatives to optimize tax position while ensuring compliance
• Serve as the primary liaison for external tax advisors and auditors, and support M&A activity with tax due diligence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or a corporate tax department
• Strong experience with S-Corps, multi-state taxation, and international tax issues
• Active CPA license strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with indirect taxes and managing third-party payroll/tax vendors
