CPA Director of External Reporting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of External Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee SEC reporting activities, including preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings
• Manage the SEC reporting calendar and support Investor Relations with quality assurance reviews
• Lead a high-performing External Reporting team and collaborate with multiple departments on reporting initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting, external reporting, or financial leadership experience, with prior Big Four/public accounting experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements
• Proven leadership experience in guiding high-performing teams
• Familiarity with financial systems, compliance tools, and reporting software
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
