Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and enhance financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with GAAP and donation logging
• Implement AI tools to improve efficiency and maintain audit readiness across departments
• Prepare financial reports and lead the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy in financial data

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards, including ASC 606 and ASC 958-605
• CPA certification is strongly preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Excel
