Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in accordance with US GAAP and prepare journal entries in NetSuite
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and support month-end closing processes
• Encourage continuous improvement and collaborate on financial projects and operational goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred or actively pursuing
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Located in the Washington, D.C. metro area for in-person collaboration as needed
