Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to oversee the accounting department's daily functions and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Serve as a US GAAP subject matter expert and collaborate with the CFO on complex projects and analyses
• Enhance and implement policies for finance functions while providing timely financial reports to senior management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master's preferred
• 7+ years of financial and accounting leadership experience, preferably in a small to mid-sized company
• CPA certification required
• Experience managing a large accounting team
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with Sage Intacct and ASC 606 revenue recognition
