Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriter I (Remote - Central Time Zone).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform risk reviews and underwriting evaluations for new business, renewals, endorsements, and reinstatements
• Make decisions on risk acceptability and serve as a point of contact for Customer Service and Backoffice teams
• Implement underwriting procedures and analyze data to inform pricing, underwriting, and sales decisions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Early career professional in underwriting or related field
• Experience with risk assessment and underwriting processes
• Ability to analyze internal and external data for business segments
• Familiarity with commercial auto insurance products
• Understanding of underwriting guidelines and procedures
