Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to join their Legal & Compliance Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support business teams in structuring, drafting, and negotiating various complex sales and commercial agreements
• Partner with procurement and business teams to review and negotiate vendor agreements while managing risk
• Provide legal advice on a range of matters, including software licensing and go-to market activities

Required Qualifications

• JD Degree from an accredited law school and license to practice law in at least one state
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a commercial counsel or in a top law firm, with a focus on technology transactions
• Experience with employment or IP matters is a plus
• Strong commercial negotiation and drafting skills, with experience in building contract templates
• Self-starter with a collaborative approach to building relationships across functions
