Position Summary

Utilization Management is a 24/7 operation and work schedules will include weekends, holidays, and evening hours.

The Team Lead is accountable to leadership to support the day-to-day operations of the team. This position has no supervisory oversight of staff.

The Clinical Team Lead supports the on-boarding of new staff, is a single point and first line of contact for staff. They may lead projects as assigned. The Clinical Team Lead provides ongoing communication and updates to leadership and contributes and participates in team meetings. The role requires promoting team building between staff and departments.
• Serve as a resource to team members.
• Serve as a content model expert and mentor to the team regarding practice standards, quality, problem resolution and critical thinking.
• Ensure adherence to plan sponsor performance guarantees.
• Ability to analyze data identify and report off to leadership on trends, educational opportunities or both individual and team development.
• Develop, implement, and support program policies and procedures. Utilize critical thinking skills to raise the level of the team’s performance.
• Mentor the team, monitoring and providing feedback regarding performance relative to best practices.
• Function as a role model for the CVS values.
• Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
• Support a positive work environment that promotes the concept of teamwork. Support Associate Managers as directed.
• May have responsibility of their own caseload work.

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of Managed Care Experience
• 1+ years of clinical experience in acute or post-acute setting.  
• Must have active current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence.
• May be required to obtain additional Nursing Licenses as business needs require. 
• Must be willing and able to work four 10-hour shifts including every Weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, and two weekday shifts during the week. Utilization Management is a 24/7 operation and work schedules will include weekends, holidays, and evening hours.
• 12.5% shift diff

Preferred Qualifications
• EST/CST candidates preferred
• Prior supervisory experience
• Utilization Management experience preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,627.00 – $155,538.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
