Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist to provide support to insureds and claimants dealing with extensive losses or injuries involving litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialize in a specific line of business and handle high-exposure claims
• Provide technical advice and direction to claim adjusters, managers, and agents
• Direct activities of defense counsel handling litigated files and participate in training of department personnel

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Prior experience handling complex, large claims
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
• Associate in Claims Designation
• CPCU designation or other continuing education
• Proficiency with computers and current technology
