Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist to support mortgage claims operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve exceptions preventing loan assignment to HUD
• Review claims and supporting documentation for compliance with HUD guidelines
• Track claim status to ensure timely approvals and submissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience (5+ years in a related role)
• Knowledge of HUD regulations; HECM experience is a plus
• 2-5 years of mortgage Quality Control or claims processing experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
