Certified Veterinary Technician

Are You Ready for a Change of Pace and a Change of Scenery?

The Humane Society of Central Oregon is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our innovative Veterinary Outreach Program. This is a unique opportunity for someone who’s passionate about making a difference outside the walls of a traditional clinic—helping animals and the people who love them, especially in underserved areas.

• Support mobile veterinary clinics and events
• Help reduce barriers to care for pet owners in need
• Foster trust, compassion, and education in every interaction

This role is ideal for a flexible, collaborative, and mission-driven CVT who thrives in a fast-paced, community-oriented setting.

Why Join HSCO?
We believe in:
• Work-life balance – We work hard, have fun, and celebrate our successes together!
• Teamwork and respect – Every role matters here.
• Compassion and connection – For animals, people, and each other.

You’ll join a passionate, supportive team that believes in the power of outreach and the importance of equity in veterinary care. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy the beautiful Central Oregon scenery while doing deeply meaningful work.
