Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data abstraction, entry, injury identification, and coding for trauma patients
• Validate the accuracy of trauma data from health system facilities
• Maintain trauma registry compliance and certification requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a minimum two-year college program preferred
• Obtain and maintain a trauma-specific or HIM certification within three years of hire
• Previous trauma registry experience preferred
• ICD-10 CM/PCS coding experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 software and computer data entry required
