Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Practice Coder - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts CPT and ICD-10 coding reviews and performs chart audits to ensure accurate coding and charge capture
• Maintains productivity standards and stays updated on coding regulations and guidelines
• Researches coding issues, responds to coding questions, and ensures billed services are accurately coded

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 2 years)
• CPC - Certified Professional Coder and CPC-A - Certified Professional Coder Apprentice required
• 2-5 years of experience in a multi-specialty physician coding environment
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10-CM, and CPT-4 coding systems
• Strong understanding of health records and computerized billing systems
