Clinical Pharmacogenomics Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacogenomics (PGx) Pharmacist to support a Department of Defense pilot initiative integrating PGx testing into the Military Health System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and apply PGx testing results to clinical decision-making across various therapeutic areas
  • Support the integration of PGx data into Electronic Health Records and clinical workflows
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical consultations and provider education on PGx best practices
Qualifications:
  • PharmD from an accredited institution
  • Post-graduate training or certification in Clinical Pharmacogenomics
  • At least 3 years of experience in clinical application of PGx in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC) guidelines
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, especially within government or large health systems
