Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic IP advice to support business objectives globally
• Capture new innovations and build the patent portfolio through drafting and prosecution
• Manage litigation and support commercial transactions, including licensing and M&A

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Bioengineering, AI/Machine Learning, or Applied Mathematics preferred
• Registered and in good standing with the relevant attorney bar and preferably the USPTO
• Minimum 8 years of related experience, with 6-8 years specifically in the IP field
• Familiarity with patent prosecution, FTO analysis, and patent challenge procedures preferred
• Remote work is possible, but preference for candidates near California locations
