Business Analyst - Health Information Exchange

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Analyst - Health Information Exchange (HIE) to support a large-scale platform upgrade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for the HIE upgrade
• Develop detailed documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications
• Support the design and testing of APIs and data interfaces to ensure alignment with interoperability frameworks

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare IT or clinical data integration projects
• Strong knowledge of HL7 standards, especially FHIR (R4 or later)
• Familiarity with clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-10
• Proficiency in data analysis and mapping using tools like SQL or Excel
• Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
