Job Summary

A company is looking for a Benefit Administrator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installs and codes medical, dental, vision, and drug benefit designs for third-party administration customers
  • Conducts peer audits and testing to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal mandates
  • Assists in resolving benefit inquiries and maintains procedural documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 5 years of experience in health insurance claims and/or customer service for Benefit Administrator I; 2 years as a Benefit Administrator I or equivalent for Benefit Administrator II
  • General understanding of health care benefits, contracts, and claims adjudication
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and benefit administration systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
