Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to support and modernize its X12 EDI processing platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand the existing Magic XPA-based backend system and its workflows
• Enhance system observability and monitoring for improved operational resilience
• Design and develop event-driven services and integrations with internal and external systems

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with X12 834 EDI processing and related workflows
• Strong backend development experience with Magic XPA or ability to learn quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server; familiarity with PostgreSQL or MySQL is a plus
• Experience modernizing legacy systems, such as replatforming or migrating to serverless
• Solid debugging and production support skills
