Audit and Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Audit and Compliance Coordinator, Remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates response to record requests from CMS and other external parties, ensuring timely submission of records
  • Tracks and coordinates appeals of payment denials from CMS and other external parties
  • Provides regular audit tracking status reports to leadership and coordinates training opportunities regarding audit findings
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare regulatory environment or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and Coverage Guidelines for Home Health and Hospice
  • Familiarity with CMS audit processes
  • Understanding of revenue cycle and reimbursement for Home Health and/or Hospice
