Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Tumor Cancer Registry Tech.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and collect cancer cases through various medical reports and records
• Abstract and code cancer data accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain and enter data into cancer registry databases while adhering to productivity guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with four years of experience in multi-EMR applications, or an Associate's degree with one year of recent abstracting experience
• Certification as a Tumor Registrar (CT CTR) is mandatory
• Thorough knowledge of cancer registry processes and cancer disease processes
• Strong abstracting skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and registry software within 60 days of hire
