Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Engineer, Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary security expert for multiple product lines, guiding engineering and security efforts
• Conduct architecture reviews, manual security code reviews, and automate security assessments prior to production
• Collaborate with application development teams to implement secure software development lifecycle practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in security engineering
• Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or cloud security-related preferred
• Strong experience in web and mobile application security and distributed platform security
• Familiarity with public cloud security issues and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
