API Gateway Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API Gateway Engineer to lead the development and operationalization of their API strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering effort to deploy new features, bug fixes, and maintain the API gateway
• Design, build, evolve, and automate production operations of the API Gateways using Site Reliability Engineering principles
• Participate in an on-call rotation with a global team to support API Gateway operations

Required Qualifications

• Experience with API Gateway technologies, specifically Apigee
• Proficiency in cloud-based architecture and full stack development
• Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
