Academic Designer, Literacy

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Designer, Literacy, MLL Grades 9-12.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop content for teacher and student materials, including lessons and resources
• Assist in creating prototypes, guidelines, and project documentation as needed
• Act as a liaison between vendors, internal teams, and Academic Design teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in literacy curriculum development and educational publishing
• Teaching experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of content standards and pedagogical trends related to literacy and English language development
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and digital authoring systems
