Financial Analyst

Essential Duties:

We are seeking a motivated and curious Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance and Business Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to develop well-rounded expertise across Finance, Business Operations, and Data Analytics. You’ll work cross-functionally to help drive data-informed decision-making and support the rapid scaling of Redwood’s operations. 

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for various departments 

• Analyze operational data and develop dashboards to identify trends and opportunities 

• Develop easy to use and refreshable Financial reports that provide meaningful insights into the business  

• Partner with teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering to understand cost drivers and business performance 

• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packages and presentations for leadership  

• Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support key initiatives 

• Contribute to process improvement and automation projects within the finance function 

• Translate questions to data, and data to answers 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and organization 

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset 

• Eagerness to learn, from other people but also individually 

• Proficiency in Excel, or curiosity to become an Excel expert; experience with SQL, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus 

• Eagerness to learn and grow across multiple domains—Finance, Ops, and Analytics 

• A passion for sustainability and innovation
